Progressive Summarization II: Examples and Metaphors

I summarize them completely opportunistically, when I’m already reviewing the note for some other purpose anyway.

Note: A given note may not be summarized until months or years after it’s been captured. Current Self can’t afford to do big, heavy lifts meticulously organizing hundreds of notes upfront. Who knows if that work will ever pay off? Not sure how I feel about this. I get it and it makes sense, but how do I learn the things in the notes if I'm not summarizing them? How do I network them so they pop up elsewhere if I haven't done the groundwork?
